• Founder & Chef

Chloe is an LA // NY based chef, recipe developer and vegetable girl. She has an acute passion for gathering people together around hospitality, sourcing fresh, local and sustainable ingredients, visiting farms, exploring wine country, reading books about the future of the food system, eating at restaurant after restaurant .. etc..

Chloe graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration studying restaurants, food, wine and …. real estate.

After graduating, Chloe worked at Eleven Madison Park (crowned No.1 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2017) perfecting her skills in service and operations, while spearheading menu development and seasonal menu changes.

The pandemic brought Chloe back home to Los Angeles, providing time to cook, develop recipes, write articles, edit cookbooks, and discover her passion for what makes up a meal - ingredients. Forming relationships with local farmers and bakers, Chloe developed her vision for what would become Commis Kitchen.

Most recently Chloe was a project leader at RH, opening 6 restaurants and their inaugural hotel. There she fine-tuned her skills in recipe development, sourcing, kitchen design, and menu design all while building wine programs, service standards and operational systems.

Of all things, Chloe is passionate about sharing her love and knowledge for the food/restaurant/farm/wine industry with others. She is ecstatic to finally call herself a full-time chef and to continue connecting and inspiring others.

“I believe food is a magical, universal element of life with the power to connect all of us around the world, whether growing it, cooking it, or eating it.”
